How It Works (Formula)

The tool first calculates your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) using the highly accurate Mifflin-St Jeor equation. It then multiplies that base number by an activity multiplier (ranging from 1.2 to 1.9) to find your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE).
