What is the Kelvin to Celsius Formula?
The Kelvin (K) to Celsius ($^\circ$C) formula is the inverse algorithm used to translate absolute thermodynamic data back into the relative temperature format used by global civilians.
The Core Algorithm
Because the "step size" of a single degree is physically identical across both scales, there is no need for fractional compression or expansion. You simply subtract the baseline difference. Absolute zero in Celsius is $-273.15$, so you subtract that exact amount from the Kelvin data.
$$ T_{(^\circ\text{C})} = T_{(\text{K})} - 273.15 $$
The flat subtraction algorithm mapping absolute limits back to human relativity.
Example Calculation
If an engineer records a cryogenic fluid at $77\text{ K}$, what is the Celsius temperature? You simply subtract the baseline constant: $77 - 273.15$. The fluid is sitting at a freezing $-196.15 ^\circ\text{C}$.
