Reversing Characters vs. Reversing Words
- Reverse Characters: Inverts every letter's absolute placement.
"RapidTables"becomes"selbaTdipaR". - Reverse Words: Leaves letter spelling order within words unchanged, but reverses the sequence of the words in the sentence.
"How are you?"becomes"you? are How". - Reverse Lines: Inverts paragraph order. The final line moves to the first row, and the first line moves to the bottom row of the output.
How does Mirror Text and Upside-Down Flipper Work?
Because normal computers cannot natively rotate character fonts upside down by 180 degrees without CSS layouts, we search a local lookup table containing flipped Unicode character counterparts. We match standard latin letters to special characters like ɐ (for a), ǝ (for e), and ʇ (for t). The final string is then printed in reverse sequence to let you copy-paste the rotated text block into any social media app or message box.
