What is the Volume Calculator?
The Volume Calculator is a versatile geometry tool that computes the three-dimensional space enclosed within a specific physical boundary. It supports various 3D shapes including spheres, cylinders, cubes, and cones.
How It Works (Formula)
Volume formulas vary significantly depending on the geometry. For a standard rectangular prism, the formula is simply Length multiplied by Width multiplied by Height. For a cylinder, it relies on Pi and the radius squared.
$$ V_{\text{cylinder}} = \pi r^2 h $$
The volume formula for a right circular cylinder.
How to Use It
Select the 3D shape you wish to measure from the dropdown menu. Enter the required parameters (such as radius, length, width, or height) in your preferred units. The calculator will output the total cubic volume.
