What is the Watts to dBm Converter?

How It Works (Algorithm)

dBm stands for "decibels relative to one milliwatt." Because the input is in full Watts, the calculator must first multiply the input by 1,000 to convert it into milliwatts. Then, it runs the base-10 logarithm on that value and multiplies by 10 to extract the decibel reading.
