What is GPA to Letter Grade Conversion?
The GPA to Letter Grade Conversion tool reverses the standard academic calculation. It takes a numerical GPA (like a 3.4) and translates it back into a standard, understandable Letter Grade (like a B+) or a percentage scale.
How It Works (Algorithm)
The tool cross-references the standard US College Board 4.0 grading scale. While exact brackets vary slightly by institution, a 4.0 is universally an 'A', a 3.0 is a 'B', a 2.0 is a 'C', and a 1.0 is a 'D'. Plus and minus grades fill the decimals in between.
$$ 3.3 \le \text{GPA} < 3.7 \rightarrow \text{B+} $$
A standard Boolean logic threshold used for letter translation.
How to Use It
Simply enter your numerical GPA into the calculator. It will instantly look up the corresponding academic brackets and display the most likely Letter Grade and Percentage equivalent for that score.
