What is the Concrete Calculator?
The Concrete Calculator is an essential construction estimator for pouring slabs, patios, footings, and driveways. It accurately calculates the volume of concrete required so you know exactly how many pre-mixed bags to buy or how many cubic yards to order from a truck.
How It Works (Formula)
The tool calculates the geometric volume of the pour by multiplying the length, width, and thickness of the slab. It then converts this cubic volume into cubic yards, and divides it by the yield of standard 60lb or 80lb concrete bags.

Always order 10% extra concrete to account for spills and uneven grades.
How to Use It
Enter the length and width of your project area, and specify the desired thickness (usually 4 inches for standard patios). The calculator will output the total volume in cubic yards and the exact number of bags required.
